I ordered this as an anniversary gift to my husband. It was July 6th, on July 8th I emailed attaching pictures that the knife was damaged. Rick Taylor assured me he would repace the knife. I offered to send the damaged knife back. He said the other one was on the way. I have nor recieved it to date.
The attention to detail is exceptional, the Damascus blade and bolster really catch the eye. This is the second White Hills blade I’ve purchased. The Damascus Ulu knife also exceeded my expectations in both function and attention to detail. These craftsmen have it down.

This knife is the perfect gift for a hunter. Personalized. My son loves it. Great size and quality. I would definitely recommend you buy one.
I was concerned when I looked at the pictures more closely after ordering that the blade didn't look very sharp. When I received the knife the blade indeed wasn't very sharp after I had emailed and asked about it. They said it was one of their premium knives and held a very sharp edge. It does not. My husband loves the knife but he will have to do extra work to put a sharp edge on it. I didn't want that to be an issue for him for the amount of money I paid for the knife. $209+$25 for engraving+ $20 shipping. That's a lot of money for a knife without a sharp edge. It's a beautiful knife just not sharp.
