Engraving is in wrong spot and blurry. The wooden handles are so cheap. I couldn’t even give this as a gift as intended because of how cheap the product is including the sheath and the engraving is not legible.

As Crocodile Dundee famously said in the movie. D2 is a good steel. The knife has a good finish. The handle is attractive and fills my hand. Why pay a premium for powdered metal when D2 is fully serviceable? No complaints. I am less impressed with the sheath. It does not appear to be full-grain and has a decorative piece of very thin split leather stitched to the front. I am not a fan of safety straps on most knife sheaths because they prevent the knife from being quickly returned to the sheath. You have to move the strap out of the way to prevent slicing it off. Unless you are doing gymnastics, a 10" blade is not going to fall out of a sheath without a safety strap. But, overall, this is a good value and I am pleased with it.
I was hoping the knife would be a little sharper when it arrived. Also, I'm sure it's necessary, but why is it so greasy when it arrives. Otherwise, beautiful knife.

He had been asking for a new knife for awhile as he originally bought a knife off of Temu… needless to say this was a much needed upgrade :) We thought the blade would a sharp enough to cut through a paper towel roll. Beautiful knife for our Dad’s 80th Birthday! However, the engraving can hardly be seen. I really wish it would have been more highlighted. The knife is well made, looks great!!
