If you're lioking at the company's online pic of this knife and sheath and thinking, "yeah but does it really look that nice in hand" the answer is a great big YES! Mine arrived today, and wow is all i can say. This knife is so impressive in every way. The wood handle is beautifully shaped, beefy and the ergonomics are fantastic. The Damascus blade is thick and gorgeous, and the sheath is very well crafted, holds the knife securely and looks so good. As someone who regularly uses and collects knives of quality, this knife gets a sky high two thumbs up. It looks awesome, it's made awesome, it's extremely comfortable in hand and the price is so fair and reasonable for what you're getting. I know you'll appreciate the value as much as I do. And yes, it arrives very sharp with a fingerprint grabbing blade edge. Buy with total confidence. This was my first White Hills Knives purchase, and it definitely won't be my last. They make a great knife at a great price.

I ORDERED THE Handmade Damascus Steel Hunting Knife Stag Handle & Brass Bolsters with Leather Sheath × 1 @ $124 INCLDING SHIPPING. THE KNIFE ITSELF IS SMALL,,THE BONE HANDLE IS ACTUALLY TOO SMALL FOR MY GRIP BUT OF GOOD QUALITY. I GIVE THE KNIFE AN OVERALL RATING OF 8 ON A 1 -10 SCALE WITH 10 BEING THE BEST.
THE SHEATH IS WHERE MY REAL DISAPPOINTMENT COMES INTO PLAY. THE BELT STRAP IS MADE OF A CUT OF LEATHER THAT IS WAAAAY TO THIN AND FLIMSY ALLOWING THE ENTIRE KNIFE AND SHEATH TO MOVE AROUND TOO MUCH. ALSO THERE IS NO RETENTION STRAP ACROSS THE TOP OF THE KNIFE HANDLE WHICH ALLOWS FOR EVEN MORE MOVEMENT OF THE KNIFE AWAY FROM THE BODY AS WELL AS MAKING IT LESS SECURE IN THE SHEATH. I SUPPOSE I WILL BE VISITING MY LEATHER WORKER TO HAVE THE SHEATH DONE PROPERLY.

My dad used to have a knife eerily similar to this knife when I was a kid. He's gone now so I have been on the hunt for a knife close to what he had. I stumbled across White Hills Knives by happenstance and lo and behold, here was the knife I was searching for for months and months. The design is beautiful and intricate. I bought this folding knife as a gift for my boyfriend and I have a years worth of "brownie points". It arrived incredibly fast, an issue because I am not good at waiting to give gifts.... lol... The Damascus steel was beautiful. The knife was well balanced. And, the folding mechanics were incredibly smooth right out of the box. I am so incredibly impressed with this piece. It looks and feels like a much more expensive knife.

The knife is solid and has a gorgeous Damascus pattern in the blade & the guard. Appears to be authentic as you can see the layers (faintly) on the spine. However, the sheath isn’t as pictured and really dragged down my overall expectation. If you didn’t intend on shipping with the belt sheath as pictured, it needs to be noted so you’re not misleading your customers.

I gave this knife as a gift to my partner for our fifth wedding anniversary (the wood year). They were very impressed with the craftsmanship and the cool design of the blade. Easy to wrap in the box it was sent it! It does need to be sharpened, but that was to be expected.
