This superb design knife is hand forged. Blade of this knife has a nice file work and is made of 512 layers of stainless steel and high carbon steel with hardness 55-60 HRC . This robust knife is lab tested under intense conditions, the balance and shape of this knife ensures perfect grip.

Damascus Blade Hunting Knife with Wood Handle

This is my second White Hills knife. As in my previous purchase, the knife blade and handle are immaculate. The knife sheath is a work of beauty and very functional - the reason I did not give my purchase 5 stars was because of an imperfection in the sheath. There is a short tear 1/2 inch long along one margin of the sheath - it appears that it was present when the sheath was made as the stitching on the margin goes through the area of laceration with no involvement of the stitch. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect function I know, however it does detract from the beauty of the sheath and my expectations for quality of workmanship, and knowing that the sheath was constructed with knowledge of this imperfection in material does detract somewhat from my overall satisfaction with the workmanship. Nitpicking, I know, but I do look for the highest quality in what I purchase. Very happy otherwise with this knife (and my previous purchase).
