Blade of this knife has a nice Pattern and is made of 256 layers of stainless steel and high carbon steel with hardness 55-60 HRC. This robust knife is lab tested under intense conditions; the balance and shape of this knife ensure a perfect grip.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
1095 steel is high-carbon steel and will rust if not dried and oiled after use. Hand wash only with soap and hot water. Dry completely before oiling.

Overall it's a good knife it could be sharper but a few muinites with a knife sharpener makes a big difference. Only other complaint is the blade rests on the inside when closed so it tends to have a dull spot. It could use a blade stop when closed and wouldn't have a problem. It is a fairly well built knife just a few improvements would make it really special.
